The Bellwoods Mimico Apartment
Project is located on the waterfront at
1 Summerhill Road in
Toronto, and provides support services to clients living in
the building's twelve integrated, fully accessible, one and
two bedroom units.
Support services such as personal grooming
and hygiene, assistance with eating, and toileting, are available
twenty four hours per day, seven days per week, for people
with physical disabilities who have the skills to identify
and schedule their service needs. Housekeeping services are
also available. Clients access Bellwoods' MILE Program for
their program and educational needs. Rent is geared to income.
Support Services are client-directed
and assist clients to carry out the activities of daily living
as outlined in an individual support service agreement and
individual service plan.
